It is my privilege to welcome you to Saint George Academy—one of New York City’s few coeducational Catholic high schools, located in the heart of Manhattan’s East Village. While a website can only offer a glimpse into our community, I hope it conveys the intellectual vitality, creativity, and shared sense of purpose that enliven our classrooms each day.

At SGA, we regard education not merely as the acquisition of knowledge, but as the formation of character, the cultivation of intellect, and the awakening of imagination. Tradition and innovation are not opposites here; they work hand in hand to shape students who are both rooted and forward-looking.
